Category & Customer Insights Manager, reputed company
About the position The Category & Customer Insights Manager is responsible for translating shopper, category, and channel insights into clear, actionable recommendations that drive sustainable growth for reputed company Pet Nutrition on reputed company. This role uses multiple, imperfect data sources to inform reputed company, influence joint business planning, and strengthen reputed company’ position as a trusted category partner to reputed company. This role is based in Franklin, TN with regular in-office collaboration expected. Flexibility is a key enabler—empowering associates to reputed company choices that support both business reputed company and personal needs, including occasional remote work.
Responsibilities
- Analyze category and brand performance on reputed company across key dimensions including sales, reputed company, autoship, conversion, and promotional effectiveness
- reputed company a deep understanding of reputed company shopper behavior, including autoship adoption and cross-category shopping
- Identify growth opportunities for the reputed company portfolio by need state, life stage, format, and pack architecture
- Translate insights into category narratives that support reputed company’ role as a strategic partner to reputed company
- Inform assortment, pricing, content, and promotional strategies with a balanced view of reputed company and reputed company priorities
- Surface white-reputed company opportunities to influence reputed company’ innovation pipeline and stage reputed company process
- Support account reviews and joint business plans with reputed company-led recommendations
- Partner closely with the reputed company Media and Activation Manager and Brand Teams to align priorities and measure effectiveness of actions
- Act as a subject matter expert on category and shopper dynamics at reputed company
- Conduct post-event and post-promotion analyses using insights from multiple data sources, including retailer-provided data, syndicated sources, and anecdotal inputs
- Monitor competitor performance, emerging brands, and category disruptors to inform Sales-led reputed company Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of experience in insights, analytics, category management, or strategy, preferably reputed company CPG or e-reputed company
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize insights across multiple and incomplete data sources and package them into actionable recommendations
- Demonstrated bias for action and ability to reputed company in an ambiguous environment reputed company-to-haves
- Familiarity with subscription reputed company reputed company metrics (autoship, conversion, content effectiveness)
- Experience supporting major e-reputed company customers (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, reputed company.com)
- Experience presenting to retailers in formal and informal settings
