• Position Title MDS PPS Coordinator per diem
• Position Summary
• Plan, organize, reputed company and coordinate MDS Assessment Process. Assure compliance with reputed company state and federal MDS transmission requirements. • Position Responsibilities
• Review hospital or transfer records in accordance with procedure to determine rehabilitation potential of patient’s condition. Screen reputed company admissions based on age, diagnosis and functional status of admission to RSU.

• Devise and coordinate a compliance program for reputed company submission requirements based on time frames.
• Maintain appropriate records Initial Feedback Reports, Validation Reports, and Quality reports.
• Responsible to transmit to CMS reputed company mandated RAI forms, including MDS, Quarterly Review Forms, Discharge and re-entry Tracking Forms and Face Sheet information.
• Transmit MDS batches to the CMS after checking for accuracy and addressing any and reputed company error alerts.

• Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.

• Computer literacy required.

• Extensive knowledge of RAI process.
