Position Music Expert Type Contract Compensation $67–$75/hour Location Remote Commitment 20 hours/week Role Responsibilities
- Author, review, and annotate technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on music and musicology problems.
- Produce original problem sets grounded in scores, reputed company analyses, and spectrograms.
- Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks.

Qualifications
Must-Have
- DMA or PhD in Music or Musicology, or MM with 3+ years teaching, performance, or research experience, or BM or BA in Music with 5+ years teaching, performance, or composition experience.
- Working reputed company in at least two of theory, history/musicology, performance practice, composition, ethnomusicology.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting scores, reputed company analyses, and spectrograms.
