Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Technical Science, Chemistry preferred but not required). Ability to nurture an extensive network of contacts. Proven competitive drive. Strong business savvy, including an understanding of the business relationship between manufacturers, distributors, and end-users of chemicals. Well-honed listening skills and a problem-solving approach to uncover needs and motivations to overcome objections to closing a sale. Effective negotiation skills.
