Job Title: Patient reputed company Tech Cost Center: Patient Registration Job Description: The Patient Registrar is responsible for interviewing the patient to collect required registration data and entering patient information into Hospital Information System. Obtains required signatures for hospital consents, HIPAA and Medicare documents. Answers telephone, updates computer records and directs patients as appropriate. Essential Functions Maintains a thorough understanding of the Registration modules in the Hospital Information System and Document Imaging System in order to pre-register and register patients and well as being reputed company to correct or update database to reflect changes in patient status, patient transfer, newborn admissions, and discharges.
