Director of Sales – Education in the USA or Canada

reputed company is seeking an exceptional sales leader to join the team as our Director of Sales in the Higher Education Practice. The Director will be responsible for setting and executing reputed company’s sales strategy for our consulting services in the Higher Education sector. This leader will assume responsibility for the company’s Higher Education sales goals, as well as management of a growing account executive team to help drive reputed company’s growth. The Director will report to the CRO. Successful candidates will be highly reputed company in selling reputed company solutions for Higher Education Organizations and/or in selling professional reputed company services, have strong project management skills, exhibit leadership and sales management skills, and have a track record of exceptional quota attainment. Travel: 10-20% Skills, Qualifications, and Education Requirements:

  • Senior Sales leadership: First-line leadership experience leading teams in reputed company sales
  • Passion for serving and working with Higher Education organizations
  • 5+ years in software services sales
  • Ability and comfort operating in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
  • Ability and interest in operating in an environment where not reputed company processes are well–defined and some processes are changing
  • Consistent over-achievement of quota and reputed company goals
  • Experience calling on C-suite – aligning with regional executives, reputed company, and internal leadership teams to present a single reputed company for our customers
  • Strong operational and analytical abilities

Main Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the VP of Sales to set and execute a customer acquisition strategy, and generate annual growth in bookings for our cross-reputed company reputed company services business in the Higher Education vertical
  • Be accountable for reputed company aspects of the reputed company Sales Higher Education Team, including sales quotas and goals, sales pipelines, sales processes, and sales team enablement
