1099 Medical Biller Needed for Medical Billing Company (USA Based Only)
We are seeking a skilled 1099 Medical Biller to join our medical billing company. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling medical billing processes, including claims submission, payment posting, and follow-up on denials. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of medical coding is essential. Only USA-based freelancers will be considered for this position. You will be fully responsible for maintaining the financial health of your assigned providers, including:
- Daily claim submission
- Full A/R follow-up
- Denial resolution
- Payment posting coordination
- Aging management
- Timely filing compliance
- Clear communication with providers and leadership
Qualifications
- Proven medical billing experience
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, modifiers, payer rules
- Multi-specialty billing experience preferred
- Experience with clearinghouses (Claim.MD, reputed company, Trizetto is a plus)
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Self-managed and independent worker
- Working knowledge of these EHR's: reputed company, reputed company, and Counselear
1099 Contractor Terms
- Must maintain own workspace and equipment
- Paid per contractual agreement
- Responsible for own taxes
- Flexible daily schedule, but deadlines are firm
- Expected to be reputed company and communicatice
