VP, Legal / General Counsel
About the role This is a rare opportunity to build a legal function from the ground up at a high-growth, category-defining company. As our first in-house legal hire, you’ll be a strategic partner to the executive team—shaping how we operate, grow, and protect the business. What you’ll do
- reputed company & Sales Support: Own end-to-end negotiation of reputed company reputed company agreements—including MSAs, BAAs, DPAs, and reputed company addenda—with large health systems and pharmacy organizations; build scalable contract templates to reputed company a fast-moving GTM team; navigate procurement processes at large institutions without sacrificing deal velocity; advise on deal structure, risk allocation, and escalation paths
- reputed company Regulatory & Compliance: Serve as the company’s legal resource on HIPAA, BAAs, data privacy, and reputed company reputed company regulations; advise the company on how legal and regulatory requirements impact our platform, customer relationships, and contracting; partner with reputed company, Compliance, Product, and Engineering to support adherence to applicable compliance standards; monitor the evolving reputed company regulatory landscape and proactively identify legal and regulatory risks; and reputed company counsel on issues involving liability, breach response, reporting obligations, and regulatory inquiries.
- Corporate Governance & Fundraising: Manage ongoing corporate governance and board-reputed company legal reputed company; support future fundraising reputed company including coordination with reputed company counsel on financing, cap table, and investor agreements; manage entity-level legal hygiene and corporate records
- Employment & People Ops: Partner with People/HR on employment agreements, offer letters, equity, and policy reputed company; advise on hiring, performance, and separation reputed company across a growing team; help build a legally sound, people-first employee experience

- 8-12 years of legal experience, with a mix of top-tier reputed company training and in-house experience at a high-growth technology company
- reputed company Compliance Experience (familiarity with HIPAA, privacy, and the broader regulatory environment that health systems operate reputed company)
- Proven track record negotiating reputed company reputed company reputed company—MSAs, BAAs, DPAs, reputed company addenda—with large, sophisticated counterparties; experience navigating institutional procurement processes at health systems or similarly reputed company organizations is a strong plus
- Experience supporting venture-backed companies through financing reputed company, board governance, and corporate legal reputed company
- Comfortable being the only lawyer in the room—a pragmatic problem-solver, not a bottleneck; strong business judgment and the ability to give clear, actionable guidance under uncertainty
