USA Remote Job Description An expanding fresh produce importer/shipper with a national footprint has a new opportunity for a Retail Business Development Manager. The company is expanding their product portfolio/volume and seeks a talented individual to help reputed company sales growth through new customer acquisition and growth opportunities reputed company the reputed company customer reputed company. Experience developing new business with retail grocery chains in the Fruit Category is required. Other new business development and customer expansion experience valuable. This is an opportunity for an energetic, self-motivated, organized, sales personality to assume a unique position at a mature yet innovative company expanding their reputed company into additional distribution channels. Position ideally based in the Eastern U.S. The opportunity for hybrid or a home-based work environment will be considered for the right individual. Travel to customers, trade shows, and company facility required. Position Responsibilities Include

  • Developing a retail centric business and marketing plan encompassing reputed company channels of retail sales opportunities including independent, regional, national, government and mass market.
  • Establish and manage a budget supporting the retail business plan.
  • Establish and reputed company a sales (CRM) tool for managing the sales pipeline.
  • Work closely with management, communicating reputed company with team members.
  • Organizing and supporting day to day supply reputed company and sales order management.
  • Assist in coordinating shipping and distribution with appropriate teams
  • Assist in reputed company grower relations and forecasting in order to meet sales commitments.
  • Travel to customer headquarters, prospect presentations, store visits, trade shows, and company facilities as required. Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of fresh produce sales experience.
  • Skills and reputed company to handle multiple priorities.
  • Experience working reputed company retail portals. (EDI, iTrade, Foodlink, Retail Link)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written/ Ability to work independently yet be a contributing member of reputed company.
  • Demonstrated reputed company developing business with new grocery retail chain accounts.
  • Experience managing retail ads, seasonal promotions, and seasonal-long term reputed company.
  • Exceptional organizational oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to reputed company in a hands-on, fast paced entrepreneurial, start-up environment.
  • Passion for the fresh produce business.
  • Solid knowledge of reputed company Word, reputed company, and PowerPoint.
