About the Job reputed company, the largest reputed company system in the Maryland and Washington, D.C. region, is expanding our Nighthawk Radiology Division and is seeking evening and night-shift Diagnostic Radiologists to support this expansion. - Final interpretations of after-hours CT and ultrasound, with some X-ray and occasional MRI
- 24/7 dedicated reputed company support
- 24/7 dedicated call center for critical results reporting
- 7 or 8-hour shifts
- Preliminary reads issued for reputed company cases or during high-volume periods
- Shared responsibility for handling after-hours questions and calls from technologists and providers
- 9-10 RVUs/hour with incentives for higher productivity
- Abundant internal moonlighting opportunities Schedule Options Compared to other emergency radiology roles, shifts are slightly shorter, typically 8 hours.
- Overnights only
- 17 weeks per year
- 1 week on / 2 weeks off
- 11 p.m. - 7 a.m. (Mon.-Sun.)
- Evenings only
- 23 weeks per year with periodic 3-week breaks
- Weekdays (Mon.-Fri.) 5 p.m.-12 a.m.
- Weekends (Sat.-Sun.) 3-11 p.m.
- Hybrid Evenings/Overnights
- Overnight 12-7 a.m. (Mon.-Fri.), 11 p.m.-7 a.m. (Sat.-Sun.) Practice Environment
- Coverage across multiple hospitals and urgent care centers in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia
- Includes a Level I Trauma Center

- Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Eligible for medical licensure in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia
- Fellowship training preferred
