Civil Engineer (PE, EIT, or equivalent) – Civil 3D & Design/Drafting Experience

We are a growing engineering firm looking for a Civil Engineer (PE, EIT, or equivalent experience) with proven hands-on experience in civil design and CAD drafting. The preferred candidate will meet the following criteria: •Civil design and plan production experience (i.e. can do both design and drafting).
- Availability to start soon, with consistent weekly hours.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
1. Land Development & Site Design (grading, drainage, utilities) 2. Municipal Infrastructure (stormwater, sanitary sewer, public works) 3. Transportation & Roadway Design
- Hands-on experience with Civil 3D tools such as pipe networks, grading, and corridor modeling is strongly preferred.
- Experience in PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, GIS, and other software is a plus.
- Experience preparing construction plans and design drawings, including:
1. Site plans, grading plans, and drainage design 2. Erosion and sediment control and BMPs 3. Utility design (water, sewer, storm) 4.Detention/retention/stormwater quality systems 5. Additional experience with roadway plans, reputed company/sidewalk design, traffic control plans (TCP), or water/wastewater facilities (e.g., lift stations, pump stations) is a plus.
- Ability to work with survey data and produce clean, well-organized plan sets is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with civil engineering design standards and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to local requirements and regulations.
- Proven ability to produce clean, well-organized, and professional construction plan sets.
