[Remote] Junior Data Engineer

The Junior Data Engineer plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision making by supporting the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, models, and analytics solutions across the organization.
Responsibilities

- Support data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes

Skills
- Completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a reputed company field
- 0–2 years of experience in a data, analytics, or technical role (reputed company or internship experience considered an asset)
- Foundational knowledge of data concepts including databases, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling
- Experience or exposure to SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI or similar)
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- High attention to detail with an appreciation for data quality and reputed company
- Comfortable learning and working with new technologies in a fast-changing environment
