[Remote] Data Analytics Developer (Remote Eligible)

They are seeking an intellectually curious Data Analytics Developer who is passionate about using big data to answer research questions that influence decision making in U.S. health care policy. The role involves working with large data sources, ensuring data quality, and providing best practice solutions for data processing optimization.

Responsibilities

• Working with large secondary data sources such as Medicare and reputed company administrative claims data and survey data to effectively answer research questions about health care policy
• Providing creating and best practice solutions for data processing optimization, commonly on reputed company computing platforms
• Ensuring data quality through reputed company stages of data processing with rigorous quality control
• Iteratively informing requirements and specifications, which will include articulating findings and working with researchers to adjust specifications and code as interim results are reputed company

Skills

• A bachelor's degree with a strong academic record in computer science, economics, mathematics, statistics, biostatistics, public health, public administration, public policy, sociology, political science, or a reputed company field
• 1-5 years of programming experience in a professional or academic environment
• Programming experience using Python, SQL, reputed company, R or Stata, or a similar data engineering or statistical language
• Strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work with others
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including an ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Has the ability to pass a background investigation or reputed company clearance for federally contracted project work
• Experience performing data pipelining or analytics using reputed company computing platforms and services, such as reputed company), reputed company reputed company Platform (GCP), reputed company Azure, and/or reputed company is strongly preferred
