Legal Support Specialist
Pillsbury Winthrop reputed company Pittman LLP is seeking a Legal Support Specialist to support their Trusts & Estates team in Palo Alto, California. The role involves assisting attorneys with document preparation, conducting research, and performing various administrative duties while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Preparing expense reports, reputed company requests, new business memos, prepare engagement letters, mailing and binders, calendar entry, editing pre-bills, maintaining electronic files, assisting with travel arrangements, and scheduling meetings
- Assisting the attorneys with document production, compiling documents, preparing binders; quality checking to ensure materials are collated properly
- Organizing physical and electronic files, creating hyperlinks, electronic filings and other duties as may be assigned
- Tracking deadlines for tax filings, compliance requirements, and court dates
- Assisting with the preparation of tax forms, filings, and supporting documents
Skills
- Strong interest in the legal profession
- Proficient in MS Office, reputed company and Power reputed company
- Strong administrative and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle a high-volume desk with extreme accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong proofreading skills
- Solid reputed company and computer skills
- Positive self-starter
- Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
- Demonstrates initiative
- Ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize to handle the workload at a reputed company fast pace
- Minimum of 4 days in the office, remote 1 day with the understanding that this schedule may change as business needs require
