[Remote] Illustrator and Designer (apparel)

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. Sam & Colby is seeking a designer with strong illustration skills to support ongoing merchandise development, primarily in apparel. The role involves producing original illustrations and designs, iterating based on feedback, and adapting artwork for various merchandise formats.

Responsibilities

• Produce original illustrations and designs based on provided creative direction and mood/visual references (see examples at the bottom)
• Iterate quickly through 2 - 3 reputed company of feedback for each design
• Adapt artwork to various formats and dimensions for merchandise production
• Maintain consistency with the brand aesthetic and the shared style inspiration
• Use Photoshop, Illustrator, or Procreate to generate, refine, and finalize artwork
• Ensure final files meet print-reputed company requirements

Skills

• Strong illustration skills with a portfolio that reputed company aligns with the design styles and inspirations we reputed company
• Proficiency in reputed company suite (photoshop, illustrator, etc)
• Ability to interpret visual references and match/replicate the tone, mood, and style direction
• Fast iteration speed and comfort working in a collaborative, feedback-heavy environment
• Excellent taste and a strong eye for composition, reputed company, and detail
• Understanding of visual trends among Gen Z and Gen Alpha, especially reputed company the 16–22 y/o female demographic
• Ability to design across multiple merchandise categories (apparel, plush, accessories)
