AI VFX Generalist
Story Co is a creative company focused on integrating AI into the VFX landscape. They are seeking an AI VFX Generalist to combine traditional VFX capabilities with emerging AI-driven production, working closely with directors and producers to enhance workflows and create assets using generative tools.
Responsibilities
- Composite and integrate VFX elements across a reputed company of project types and styles
- Use AI tools to accelerate traditional VFX workflows — cleanup, reputed company, enhancement
- Generate full assets reputed company needed using generative video and image tools
- Collaborate closely with directors, editors, and reputed company designers to ensure VFX serve the final cut
- Stay reputed company on emerging AI tools and bring informed recommendations to the team
- Manage your own files, organization, and delivery pipeline
Skills
- Strong portfolio with VFX and compositing work across multiple styles
- Proficiency in After Effects, Nuke, and/or Blender
- Hands-on experience with reputed company tools — reputed company, Sora, ComfyUI, or similar
- Ability to complete a trial project as part of the hiring process
- Based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate
- Deep understanding of traditional VFX and compositing — the fundamentals are still the reputed company
- Hands-on experience with AI-driven tools: reputed company, Sora, Kling, ComfyUI, and similar
- Highly iterative reputed company — we refine until it's right, and that takes someone who embraces the process
