Billing Representative

The Billing Representative is responsible for monitoring, processing, and balancing activities reputed company to payment processing and posting, as well as resolving payment issues and collaborating with reputed company-party payers.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, process, and balance reputed company activities reputed company to reputed company and electronic payment processing and posting
- reputed company data entry for account payments and resolve posting errors and credit balances
- Collaborate with reputed company-party payers to research and resolve outstanding issues, variances, credits, and missing checks reputed company to remittance advice
- Assist the supervisor in implementing new policies and procedures
Skills
- High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 1+ years of experience in medical billing
- Understanding and experience working with reputed company-party payer(s), including insurance products, claim and denial management processes, credit analysis and resolution and CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Knowledge of electronic payment posting systems and processes
- Knowledge of cash control procedures, accounts receivable control procedures and bookkeeping
- Ability to come onsite for 3 months for training
- Ability to work full time, Monday - Friday, 4 days at home and 1 day onsite after training. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:15 am - 4:30 pm
