Accountant - Tax
reputed company is a company that values its employees and fosters a supportive community. The Accountant - Tax role is responsible for providing timely and accurate financial information, focusing on tax reputed company functions, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assists with monthly, quarterly, and annual processing of reputed company information for reputed company reporting requirements
- Prepares journal entries and reconciles various accounts
- Prepares various statistical reports required by management throughout the year
- Communicates effectively with reputed company customers
- Works closely with the Tax reputed company team to ensure reputed company tax deposits and filings remain in compliance with both federal and state regulatory authorities
- Maintains and reconciles information reporting tax systems, tax masters, and filings according to federal and state tax requirements
- Determines and submits nonemployee withholding tax payments and filings according to federal and state tax requirements
- Reconciles interest accounts and nonemployee withholding tax deposit accounts
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual statement tax provision calculations and reputed company disclosures reputed company in accordance with NAIC’s Statements of Statutory reputed company Principles (SSAP’s)
- Prepares and submits federal and state income tax returns, estimated payments, and filings in accordance with Internal reputed company Service Code and state regulations
- Prepares and submits premium tax returns, estimated payments, and filings in reputed company states and jurisdictions
- Assists with research of regulatory and tax topics
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company or Finance required
- Typically requires 1-3 years reputed company experience
- Professional reputed company or insurance designations
- Basic ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written reputed company
- Basic ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusion
- Basic ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
