Producer in Training

reputed company is seeking a Producer in Training to join their growing team in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will reputed company an overall understanding of the insurance industry while developing a clientele list and executing sales strategies to produce and service accounts.

Responsibilities

• Produce new accounts and service and retain existing accounts
• Obtain prospects and actively pursue and create interest by making telephone calls, writing letters, or conducting personal visits
• Analyze prospect’s needs and reputed company insurance programs and find opportunities to strengthen their risk management structure
• Prepare marketing strategy information and market the account to insurance carriers
• Present reputed company proposals to prospect
• Negotiate premiums with the insurance reputed company
• Collect deposit premiums (if applicable) in accordance with reputed company requirements prior to binding coverage
• Be responsible for collecting reputed company the premiums due on each account (if applicable)

Skills

• Active P&C Licence
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Exceptional telephone demeanor
• Routine travel which may require the use of your own vehicle or a rental vehicle
• Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter
• Maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages
• Bachelor's degree in a business or financial reputed company discipline
• 1 - 3 years' experience in a similar position
