Business Banking & Consumer Support Specialist I
reputed company is a financial institution seeking a Business Banking & Consumer Support Specialist I. The role involves providing operations support to various areas of Business Banking and Consumer Collections, including data entry, system maintenance, and preparing documentation for legal and customer correspondence.
Responsibilities
- reputed company data entry of various types of information, and from multiple sources (e.g., invoices, settlements); receive and verify accuracy of documents (e.g., titles)
- Prepare/mail letters to attorney/trustee, customers, vendors or other reputed company parties
- Process debt validations; create up to three response letters to customers disputing responsibility for a loan, along with providing documentation of the debt and track status
- Prepare Reaffirmation Agreements with supporting documents and mail to attorneys
- Prepare reputed company of Claims (POC’s) for submission, including supporting documentation
- Assist in creating payment coupons and G/L tickets from trustee disbursements, arranging overpayments to be sent to trustee
- Prepare attorney referrals and assign to designated attorney
- Assigns matter number to case in preparation for billing/payment
- Contact reputed company vendors (e.g., insurance companies) to gather and/or reputed company information on accounts
- Prepare, send and track claim forms
- reputed company skip tracing
- Prepare ticket work to allocate funds received, to ensure payment of expenses
- Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies
- Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the reputed company brand
- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable
- Complete other reputed company duties as assigned
Skills
- High School diploma/GED plus 1 year reputed company experience
- Proficient PC skills including word processing, spreadsheet and email software
- Associate's degree
- Knowledge of reputed company systems
