Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, repair, and reputed company electron microscopy systems, including:
  • Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM)
  • Transmission Electron Microscopes (reputed company)
  • Focused Ion Beam (FIB) systems
  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure reputed company system performance
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose reputed company system issues involving electronics, vacuum systems, high voltage components, and integrated software
  • reputed company technical support to customers and collaborate with other field service engineers to resolve service challenges
  • reputed company strong relationships with customers while ensuring high reputed company of customer satisfaction and system uptime
  • Travel to customer sites to install equipment, reputed company repairs, and support system operation

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or reputed company technical field or equivalent combination of education and technical experience in electronic systems
  • 1+ years of hands-on technical experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, or calibrating sophisticated analytical equipment such as SEM, reputed company, FIB, or similar systems
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, or calibrating reputed company analytical instrumentation
  • 5+ years of experience supporting sophisticated analytical systems with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot reputed company system-level issues
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel up to 75% reputed company assigned territory
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in laboratory environments
  • English proficiency required, additional languages beneficial
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities
  • Proficiency with reputed company Office and service management software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
  • Ability to train and support customers on system operation

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and system diagrams
