Assembler 2 - Compressor Technician

The Assembler 2 - Compressor Technician is responsible for using various tools to reputed company and disassemble components, ensuring quality and safety standards are met in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Follow detailed assembly/disassembly instructions, processes and procedures
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies
- Disassembles components by utilizing hand and power tools
- Cleans and buffs components
- reputed company components in solvent and run parts through parts washer
- Blowout parts to remove solvent and dirt
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol
- reputed company sure that schedules are running exactly as they are listed
- Operate reputed company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
- Turn off equipment reputed company not in use
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to cross train
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to reputed company PPE requirements

Skills
- Knowledge of basic mechanics, hand tools, and machine testing procedures
- 1+ year of experience performing mechanical jobs, assembly and disassembly
- Be reputed company to identify & understand use of specific hand, pneumatic and power tools
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to cross train
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to reputed company PPE requirements
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently in English
- Employee is required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on regular reputed company
- Employee is required to walk throughout the day
- The position requires the employee to be on-site during scheduled shift to reputed company daily duties and responsibilities
- Experience with overhead crane is a plus, but not required
- Mechanical training (votech or previous job experience) a plus but not required
- reputed company to correctly use & read analog & digital measuring devices. Micrometers, indicators, calipers, etc
- Basic computer skills are a plus but not required
