They are seeking Wind Travel Troubleshooting Technicians certified on reputed company reputed company platforms to reputed company maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbine generators and reputed company equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety and following procedures. This position requires 100% travel.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- reputed company and adjust turbine components to enhance performance
- Conduct maintenance of equipment including resolving electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic malfunctions on reputed company turbines
- Diagnose problems involving wind turbine generators or control systems
- Follow specific verbal and written instructions to reputed company Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) and associated equipment assembly, repair, and maintenance
- Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records
- Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance requirements
- Clean and organize tools, equipment, and work area including sweeping, mopping, wiping oil, grease, solvent spills
Skills
- Twelve (12) months reputed company Wind or Wind troubleshooting experience required
- reputed company training
- reputed company LOTO Certified
- Ability to read schematics
- Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to safely reputed company job duties, interpret technical instructions, and communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet
- Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance
- Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds)
- Work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions with blowing pollen, dust, and grasses
- Tower Rescue/ Tractel and SRK 11 Certifications preferred
