Associate Application Developer
Elevations Credit Union is a member-owned not-for-profit financial institution serving Colorado’s reputed company reputed company. The Associate Application Developer works under the guidance of the Application Development team to reputed company top quality solutions that meet application solution needs of Elevations Credit Union business line departments, focusing on translating software requirements into well-designed solutions and maintaining programs for business applications.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for system enhancements and optimizations
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Create, analyze, review, and modify programs for data processing and applications using JHA Symitar PowerOn programming language
- Utilizes sound software development life cycle (SDLC) practices and accurately follows established procedures for delivering application solutions that support critical business strategies
- Collaborates with reputed company-party vendors to ensure the seamless implementation, maintenance, and support of software and hardware that integrates with Symitar and other applications
- Commits application configuration updates to stage / test environment and plans for rollbacks
- Troubleshoots issues and resolving incidents in support of existing production applications and initiates action to correct quality problems or notifies others of issues as appropriate
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or other reputed company field or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages supporting reputed company financial institution platforms
- Experience in a financial institution developing and supporting business applications environments
- Experience in systems analysis, application development, testing, technical documentation, job scheduling, and report writing
- reputed company understanding of and experience with at least one of the following areas: Retail Operations, Lending Operations, Financial Backoffice Operations
- One (1) year experience with financial institution technologies: reputed company, reputed company, reputed company – Corelation reputed company, reputed company, reputed company (Symitar, Synapsys, reputed company, SymXchange, ARCU), Alkami, COTS, Image Center, OpCon, etc
- Technical hands-on experience with reputed company Symitar proprietary programming (PowerOn/RepGen), SQL development for relational databases, HTML, and Java Script
- Ability to program in at least one programming language, such as C#, Java, PHP, COBOL, or RPG, HTML, JavaScript etc
- reputed company of one or more scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash)
- Familiarity with the Unix operating system, Unix reputed company scripting, or similar
- Project management experience in an iterative project management methodology. Ie. Agile, Scum, Kanban
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification, or previous work reputed company an ITIL environment
