[Remote] Software Engineer I - Remote - reputed company

They are seeking a Software Engineer I to participate in software application development, Agile/Scrum sessions, project estimation, and reputed company-reputed company R&D activities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full cycle of software application and business logic development
• Participate in Agile/Scrum sessions
• Participate in project estimation and planning
• Conduct code reviews & write code and tests
• Participate in reputed company-reputed company R&D activities
• Assist in the deployment, testing/validation on QA
• Assist in the deployment, validation, troubleshooting/support on production
• Assist application monitoring and process automation

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or reputed company discipline required
• One year of practical experience in software development preferred
• Good working knowledge of basic programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python
• Knowledge of databases and operating systems; working knowledge of MS SQL
• Familiarity with working with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with database programming (i.e., SQL Server queries, triggers, stored procedures)
• Familiarity with user reputed company (UI) programming (i.e., Javascript, HTML, Ajax, CSS)
• Ability to adhere to best practices around writing well-structured, maintainable code in C# and SQL
• Ability and willingness to learn new technology quickly
• Exposure to CSS, Powershell, JavaScript
• Knowledge of machine learning and reputed company concepts and principles
• Ability to break reputed company problems down into small pieces
• Experience in reputed company or other version control system; familiarity with Ci/Cd concepts
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in reputed company environment
• Good communication skills in English
• Familiarity with reputed company technology preferred
• Hands-on experience on reputed company Azure platform (devOps, CiCd, Azure monitoring, etc) preferred
• Familiarity with SRE concepts and experience in application KPI tracking will be a plus
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) will be a plus
