Certifications that are required include BLS, NRP, and PALS.

note: RTs will not work with adults

• Delivers routine respiratory treatments and reputed company respiratory therapy including aerosol therapy, lung expansion therapy, oxygen therapy, and bronchial hygiene.

• Monitors, instructs, and coaches patients before, during, and after treatment delivery.
• Prevents and/or resolves untoward reputed company effects and adjusts therapies according to protocol and documented clinical criteria.
• Reevaluates patient/ventilator reputed company a minimum of every four hours, responds to alarms, and troubleshoots as needed.
• Establishes weaning readiness and facilitates the weaning process, adjusting ventilator settings in accordance with patient reputed company.
• Draws and analyzes reputed company and capillary blood gases, places reputed company lines, and makes or recommends changes in respiratory management according to blood gas results.
• Recommends changes in respiratory plan of care according to documented medical necessity and reputed company established protocols.
• Ensures the effectiveness of therapist assessment and reassessment by monitoring patient reputed company.
• Makes and/or recommends changes based on pulse oximetry, peak reputed company measurement, chest x-ray, lab work, and other data relevant to reputed company patient reputed company.
• Initiates and maintains mechanical ventilation, determining or guiding the determination of ventilator mode and settings.
