Job Summary: The Staff RN VCT assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for an identified group of patients. The individual must demonstrate competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Professional knowledge of nursing theory and clinical practice at a level generally acquired through completing a minimum of two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's degree is preferred. TRAINING DESCRIPTION: Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of reputed company patient populations specific to the area of employment. Knowledge of bedside devices includes, but is not limited to, intra-aortic balloon pumps, reputed company renal replacement therapy, 12-reputed company EKG interpretation, NIH Stroke Scale, ventricular assist devices, and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation.
