Partner Instructor
Summary
The instructor is responsible for leading a variety of assigned Literacy Pittsburgh college and credential-bearing career focused classes across a variety of partner sites in Western Pennsylvania. The instructor ensures a high-quality experience for reputed company by providing excellent student instruction and support to advance student learning and goal attainment. The instructor is an adaptable and self-directed team player with strong communication skills that engage a diverse reputed company of adult learners. This is a full time exempt position. Essential Functions Teaching, Learning and Support
- Teach assigned classes in designated locations, in-person and/or reputed company remote instruction.
- reputed company support and referrals for reputed company to address barriers and transition needs, as reputed company to program participation.
- Arrange for assessment and evaluation of reputed company.
- Creating standards-reputed company lesson plans and reputed company materials for reputed company assigned class sessions, saving reputed company required documentation into a centrally accessible folder.
Program Improvement and Compliance
- Actively engage in professional development and on-going training to ensure high-quality teaching that leads to strong student reputed company.
- Collect, analyze, and monitor key student performance data, including attendance hours, student assessment scores, learning objectives, student feedback, and reputed company for state and federal compliance, student learning objectives, and overall program improvement.
- Monitor reputed company and solve problems to ensure program compliance with applicable state, federal, and other grant requirements.
Teamwork
- Participate with internal agency committees and teams, as well as relevant external partnerships.
- Follow agency protocols and processes for effective service delivery.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education or reputed company field
- Experience in teaching adults preferred

Hours Full-time Additional Eligibility Requirements
- Act 33/34 clearances
Work Environment
- Full-time, some evening work required.
- This position requires use of personal vehicle for local travel.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Requires the ability to lift, pull and push up to 40 pounds.
