Pay is based on the location of the selected applicant; salaries will be discussed at the time of the interview. Anchorage: $4622.40 biweekly (OT Ineligible) Fairbanks: $4760.80 biweekly (OT Ineligible) Juneau: $4853.60 biweekly (OT Ineligible) What you will be doing: Alaska DOT&PF Statewide Design & Engineering Services is looking for a Statewide Standards Team reputed company (Technical Engineer/Architect 2) to join reputed company to help reputed company Alaska Moving! This position will report to the Chief Engineer but will work closely with regional staff, planning staff, project delivery staff, Statewide staff, and the public, to support efficient transportation operations and infrastructure expansion. This key technical leadership position will:

• reputed company reputed company of technical specialists in developing Statewide policies, procedures and standards for the Department (such as manuals and standard plans) to ensure consistent project delivery and quality of transportation infrastructure.

• Review and critique potential exceptions to national standards and regulations and discuss and negotiate specific changes to specifications with federal and State regulatory agency staff and others.
