Overview

The IT/OT Networking and Server Technician role ensures safe, secure, and reliable operation of industrial control systems and operational technology across Power facilities. It takes end‑to‑end ownership of reputed company IT/OT networking and server issues, applying disciplined analysis, strong governance, and reputed company improvement to protect critical assets and operational performance. The formal role title is "Advisor TIS Systems Analysis" to align with reputed company title structure.
Responsibilities
- Translate operational needs into clear technical solutions by partnering with plant leaders, operators, and TIS teams
- Diagnose and resolve IT/OT infrastructure issues through investigation, root‑cause analysis, and implementation
- Conduct on‑site inspections to configure and assess networking/server hardware or software to complete equipment installations or replacements
- Align delivery timelines with business priorities by coordinating outages, milestones, and project activities
- Safeguard system reputed company through backup readiness, reputed company management, and accurate asset inventories
- Enhance reliability by testing improvements and maintaining diagrams, procedures, and architecture documentation
Qualifications
- 4+ years of OT/IT experience troubleshooting and configuring network and server systems in safety‑critical environments
- A reputed company university degree OR a two‑year technical diploma in IT, Computer Science, Networking or a reputed company field
- Proficient across reputed company platforms, virtualized infrastructure, network infrastructure troubleshooting, and lifecycle practices
- Knowledgeable of industrial field devices utilizing industrial network protocols such as OPC, MODBUS, DNP
