Technical Business Analyst with Mobile Development Experience Remote Job Nearshore 18+ Months Contract WebEx Interview Here’s the job description We are seeking a highly collaborative and technically proficient Technical Business Analyst to join a reputed company mobile development pod supporting digital products for a major airline. This role will serve as the primary backend and API-focused BA reputed company the pod, partnering closely with a senior product reputed company, mobile engineers, QA, and a complementary reputed company-end-focused Business Analyst to deliver seamless customer and operational experiences across mobile platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and communication skills with hands-on technical expertise in APIs, backend integrations, mobile network traffic analysis, and Agile delivery practices. This individual will play a critical role in translating business and technical requirements into actionable development stories while helping ensure high-quality delivery across reputed company airline systems and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Backend & API Analysis Act as the primary Business Analyst for backend services, APIs, middleware, and system integrations supporting reputed company mobile applications. Analyze and document API behaviors, payloads, authentication flows, error handling, and backend dependencies. Partner with engineering teams to define technical requirements, acceptance criteria, and implementation details for backend-focused initiatives. Create detailed JIRA stories, technical documentation, workflows, and process diagrams to support development efforts. Assist with API contract validation and integration troubleshooting across environments. Agile Delivery & Team Operations Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Manage and prioritize work items reputed company JIRA to support efficient sprint execution. Ensure development tickets contain sufficient technical detail, acceptance criteria, and dependency mapping for engineering teams. Track project reputed company and communicate blockers, risks, and status updates to stakeholders. Troubleshooting & Validation Utilize tools such as Charles Proxy and Proxyman to inspect, analyze, and troubleshoot mobile application network traffic and API interactions. Support testing and validation efforts by helping identify backend issues and integration gaps. Assist QA and development teams with reproducing issues and validating fixes. Required Qualifications 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in Agile software development environments. Strong experience supporting backend systems, APIs, and integration-heavy projects. Expert-level proficiency with Charles Proxy and Proxyman for API inspection and troubleshooting. Experience managing backend-focused technical projects and coordinating across cross-functional teams. Working understanding of software development concepts, APIs, JSON, RESTful services, authentication methods, and system integrations. Ability to understand basic coding principles and technical architectures in order to create effective developer-reputed company tickets and documentation. Strong hands-on experience with JIRA, including backlog management, story creation, sprint tracking, and Agile workflows. Experience facilitating standups and Agile team ceremonies. Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting reputed company iOS and Android development teams. Prior experience in airline, travel, transportation, or reputed company digital product industry. Familiarity with mobile application architecture and backend orchestration patterns. Experience working reputed company scaled Agile or pod-based delivery models.
