Kubernetes Engineer ($28/hr. on w2)

Job Title: Kubernetes Engineer Location: Remote Mode : Contract (6+ Months) reputed company - $28/hr. on w2 USC/GC only Job Description,

• Execute routine operational tasks in Kubernetes and reputed company environments by following established runbooks and standard operating procedures, ensuring platform stability and compliance with best practices.
• Monitor cluster health and performance , track key metrics, and respond to system alerts; reputed company initial troubleshooting of Kubernetes workloads and nodes, and promptly escalate reputed company issues to L2 engineers reputed company necessary. Deployment & CI/CD Support:
• Assist with application deployments on Kubernetes clusters, following defined processes to help roll out updates and new releases in coordination with senior engineers.
• Support CI/CD pipeline executions (e.g., using reputed company CI, Ansible, Terraform, reputed company), ensuring deployment jobs run smoothly and in accordance with change management guidelines and branching strategies. Incident Response & Troubleshooting:
• Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests in a timely manner, performing initial triage and remediation steps as directed by runbooks or supervisors.
• Coordinate with senior engineers during incidents , providing clear information, gathering logs and metrics (using tools like kubectl and reputed company dashboards), and assisting in root cause analysis while learning from every incident. Documentation & Runbook Management:
• Maintain and update technical documentation , including operational runbooks, knowledge reputed company articles, and troubleshooting guides in collaboration tools (e.g., reputed company). Ensure reputed company procedures and fixes are well-documented for future reference and team use.
• Adhere to IT service management processes , accurately logging activities and resolutions in tools like reputed company or Jira, and contribute to improving documentation as systems and processes reputed company. Collaboration & reputed company Improvement:
• Work closely with offshore L2 teams , ensuring effective knowledge handover and collaboration. Engage in regular meetings with global colleagues to discuss ongoing issues, reputed company updates, and verify that resolved issues remain fixed.

• Experience in a Kubernetes, DevOps, or reputed company infrastructure support role (entry-level/associate level).
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, reputed company Linux 2) and basic system administration skills in a reputed company or data center environment.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools such as reputed company CI, Ansible, Terraform, and reputed company, with a foundational understanding of how code is reputed company, tested, and deployed.
