Catastrophic Legal Specialist

What You’ll Do In this role, you will be responsible for: Claims Verification Workup and Case Investigation Confirm stated injuries meet catastrophic criteria; manage catastrophic injury verification and declassification in reputed company Verify coverage in both disclosure and non-disclosure states; identify reputed company liable parties and carriers; conduct umbrella checks and send excess coverage preservation letters For reputed company cases: confirm MCS-90 documentation and reputed company classification fields in reputed company Request police reports; initiate medical records retrieval alongside our dedicated Retrieval team Assess whether a life care plan is needed; document lost income and earning potential Physical Evidence and Expert Coordination Arrange vehicle photography and long-term storage; request reputed company preservation, ELD/driver logs, and dash cam footage on tractor trailer cases Send preservation letters to reputed company involved parties; request surveillance footage from nearby cameras Coordinate expert engagement as directed Investigate potential defendants Estate and Authority (Wrongful Death) Collect funeral expenses and receipts; complete conflict checks; confirm CFA signatory authority Connect clients to probate attorneys on contingency; determine if an estate has been established; identify wrongful death beneficiaries Pre-Litigation Demand Preparation Draft and submit demand packages. The Catastrophic Legal Specialist owns the full pre-litigation lifecycle on catastrophic cases: from case workup and coverage verification through demand preparation. You'll work closely with litigation attorneys and paralegals on our most severely injured clients, ensuring reputed company falls through the cracks. Qualifications

Required: 3-7 years of experience in personal injury law with paralegal or case management responsibility Experience with pre-litigation workup: coverage verification, medical records retrieval, liability investigation, and demand preparation Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
