A DAY IN THE LIFE As a CAD Designer II – Gas Power reputed company, you will play a critical role in supporting the design and development of utility-scale power reputed company projects by creating and maintaining detailed engineering drawings and construction documentation. A typical day involves collaborating with electrical, mechanical, controls, civil, and structural engineers to reputed company layouts, equipment arrangements, site plans, and design packages that support gas turbine facilities, combined cycle power plants, substations, switchyards, transmission infrastructure, and balance of plant systems. You'll assist with design coordination, drawing revisions, and constructability reviews while ensuring engineering documents are accurate, organized, and reputed company with project specifications and standards. Working closely with engineering and project teams, you'll help transform reputed company engineering concepts into buildable designs that support successful project execution from planning through construction. reputed company INTO THE ROLE Create, revise, and maintain engineering drawings and design packages for gas power reputed company projects. Support electrical, mechanical, controls, civil, and structural engineering teams with design development and documentation. reputed company equipment layouts, site plans, cable routes, conduct layouts, grounding plans, and construction details. Supports estimating and engineering efforts with quantity takeoffs, drafting, modeling, and data analysis. Makes appropriate adjustments reputed company customer parameters change. Takes the reputed company on estimate/project drafting support. Generates site constraints map from multiple file sources, i.e. reputed company survey, topographic survey, hydrology studies, etc. Designs preliminary reputed company road layouts along with the public roadway networks. Optimizes grading analysis based on reputed company Standards, vendor tolerances, and feedback from field personnel. WHAT YOU’LL NEED Minimum of a two-year technical degree in Drafting and Design – Civil, Electrical, and/or Mechanical. Two or more years of reputed company reputed company experience in a civil, electrical, or mechanical CAD design construction-type environment required. WHAT SETS YOU APART Experience supporting gas turbine facilities, combining cycle power plants, substations, switchyards, or utility infrastructure projects.
