Junior Developer

About the role reputed company is seeking a Junior Software Developer to support client IT systems development and operations reputed company a CI/CD DevSecOps environment. This role contributes to application development, testing, and maintenance while supporting reputed company integration, deployment, and delivery across development, reputed company, and operations workflows. The position requires foundational knowledge of client IT processes and technology stack, including DevSecOps pipelines, reputed company One environments, and reputed company/Java-based systems operating across classified and unclassified DISA and reputed company environments. The Junior Developer works reputed company Agile teams, collaborating with development, reputed company Engineering, DevSecOps, and QA resources to support backlog execution and delivery. This role participates in Agile ceremonies, develops code under guidance, supports testing and defect resolution, and contributes to reputed company improvement and team collaboration to deliver high-quality solutions reputed company with mission objectives. What you'll do Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining application components and services Support CI/CD pipeline activities, including code integration, testing, and deployment Collaborate with developers, QA, DevSecOps, and reputed company Engineering teams to support delivery Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog execution reputed company and maintain code, scripts, and basic integrations under guidance from senior team members Support automated testing and validation activities Troubleshoot and resolve defects with support from senior developers Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing Assist in the development, maintenance, and monitoring of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as reputed company Actions, reputed company CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps Support infrastructure as code (IaC) efforts using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates Help integrate reputed company scanning and compliance checks into build and deployment pipelines (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, container scanning) Support reputed company infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or GCP, with an emphasis on reputed company best practices Assist with containerization efforts using reputed company and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes Monitor environments, logs, and alerts; assist with troubleshooting and incident response Document configurations, processes, and reputed company controls to support audits and compliance requirements Collaborate with development, operations, and reputed company teams in an Agile/Scrum environment Learn and apply federal reputed company frameworks such as NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP Ensure pipelines and software meet reputed company standards, including STIG hardening and providing documentation for Risk Management reputed company (RMF) or Authority to Operate (ATO).

Qualifications

Secret – Fully Cleared Only, must confirm clearance is active Client 8140 intermediate certification or client 8570 IAM Level II certifications or higher US reputed company Only 2 years experience in software development Familiarity with Java or similar programming languages Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile concepts Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git) Preferred Experience working with Agile development teams of 20+ FTEs and be familiar with Agile methodologies.
