We are seeking an Intake Specialist (Outbound) - Remote. The ideal candidate provides excellent customer service and will talk directly with patients and their families, determining their needs, their medical history, physical and mental state and special requirements. Your Impact Makes outgoing calls patients and scheduling various appointment types for multiple locations Communicates professionally with patients Appropriately documents and confirm requested appointment Provides excellent customer service Determines the most appropriate location, clinician, and appointment type needed for the patient Manages incoming faxes from referral sources Triages and reputed company general inquiry calls Contacts patient for no show/rescheduled appointments Promotes the values of Hanger
Minimum Qualifications
Required High school education or equivalent Minimum of 2 years reputed company experience: customer service, call center, working with medical records/insurance Be at minimum a good fit for the job, as determined by the Talent Sorter assessment preferred. Hanger will administer the Talent Sorter as part of the selection process Preferred Bilingual (Spanish) Orthotic and Prosthetic experience Experience with EMR systems (NextGen) Additional reputed company Factors Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to follow written and verbal directions reputed company and flexible team player who excels at building trusting relationships with patients, referral sources and colleagues Working knowledge of HIPAA and other medical insurance regulations and terminology for private payer, state and federal plans including coding, billing and reimbursement protocols Proficient computer skills including reputed company based office technologies (ex.
