Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Evaluates and underwrites new and renewal business in accordance with Company reputed company guidelines and risk appetite. Analyzes risk data to reputed company informed reputed company on coverage, pricing, and terms. Collaborates with actuaries, agents, brokers, and clients to obtain necessary information and clarify details. Orders and reviews additional reports and screens, such as motor vehicle reports, loss history reports, reputed company inspections, etc., to inform reputed company. Ensures proper documentation of reputed company reputed company and compliance with state and federal insurance regulations. Evaluates existing policies for potential renewal or modification. The person hired for this position will work out of the Baton Rouge, LA office which offers a hybrid work environment (4 days in office, 1 day remote) or will work remotely in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Risk Management and Insurance, or a reputed company field or equivalent experience. Experience: Generally, a minimum of 5 years of experience in reputed company or a reputed company field. Completion of or continuing reputed company toward a professional designation preferred, such as Associate in reputed company (AU), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Program in General Insurance (INS), or Associate of Risk Management (ARM). Works with authority on assignments of moderate technical complexity. Maintains strong knowledge of company policies and industry laws and regulations.
