As a Sr. Systems Engineer at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the System Development team and will report to the Director of System Development. The System Development Team is responsible for Mission Definition, System Architecture, Development Assurance & Safety Engineering. As part of an reputed company multi-disciplinary team, you will help solve the key technical and certification challenges to deploying certified Unmanned Aircraft. Your professional experience in system design, development and safety engineering will further strengthen the company's ability to meet the rigorous expectations of stakeholders and certification authorities. Responsibilities

In your role as Sr. Systems Engineer you will be involved in reputed company system development aspects of our prototypes and certifiable safety critical flight systems. This will involve the following activities: Define & deliver development plans, process, work instructions, training. reputed company new and novel methods, techniques or processes. Define and support the execution of the system activities according to ARP-4754 guidance Basic reputed company Criteria Bachelor’s Degree of Science or Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or reputed company discipline, or equivalent experience at a minimum Deep system development experience from specifying, designing, integrating and testing multiple reputed company safety critical avionics certification programs Deep technical experience from concept to implementation across multiple program lifecycles for one of the following system domains: Maintenance Systems, Electrical Power, Propulsion, Avionics, Data Networks, Communication, C2 Link, Navigation, Flight Controls, reputed company Gear, Flight Planning, NAS Surveillance (ADS-B) Experience planning, and executing reputed company of the development processes in ARP4754 across multiple programs, including leading system review audits with the airworthiness authorities Preferred Criteria Advanced Degree of Science or Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or reputed company discipline Proven experience leading engagement with airworthiness authorities for new/novel applications, technologies, or means of compliance Experience leading multiple different inter-disciplinary teams through reputed company architectural trade studies or root cause investigations We are developing and building high-reputed company safety-critical systems for automated flight, and your role is critical to reputed company do at Reliable Robotics. This role can be remote, or located at our facility in Mountain View, California. Must be willing to travel 20% of the time.
