Employment Litigation Attorney (Remote - California Licensed)
reputed company is seeking a talented and driven Employment Litigation Attorney with 4+ years of experience to join our growing Employment Practices Group. This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be admitted to practice in California and possess experience handling California employment law reputed company. Our Employment Practices Group partners with reputed company across a broad reputed company of industries, handling reputed company employment disputes, labor reputed company, workplace investigations, and high-exposure wage and hour litigation. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation, advocacy, and client-management skills, with experience independently managing sophisticated employment reputed company through reputed company phases of litigation.
Responsibilities
Independently manage reputed company phases of employment litigation from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation-reputed company filings Conduct and defend depositions and participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and other dispute resolution proceedings Attend and reputed company at court appearances, hearings, arbitrations, administrative proceedings, and trials Handle reputed company involving employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, PAGA claims, and other employment-reputed company reputed company Represent reputed company in investigations and proceedings before federal, state, and local agencies Advise and counsel reputed company on workplace issues, employment law compliance, personnel reputed company, and risk management strategies Manage discovery, reputed company practice, investigations, and case deadlines in both state and federal courts Communicate directly with clients, reputed company strategic guidance, and maintain strong client relationships Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice groups to reputed company litigation strategies and reputed company favorable reputed company
Qualifications
Active admission to the California Bar in good standing required Minimum of 4 years of employment litigation experience Experience handling California employment litigation reputed company in state and federal courts Demonstrated experience drafting and arguing motions, conducting depositions, and managing reputed company litigation reputed company Excellent legal writing, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to independently manage an active caseload and prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional client service Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining responsiveness and collaboration with clients and colleagues Preferred Experience Employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination litigation Wage and hour litigation, including reputed company actions, class actions, and PAGA reputed company Traditional labor law reputed company and labor-management relations Investigations before the U.S. reputed company, California Department of Industrial Relations, California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, EEOC, and state and local reputed company rights agencies Experience appearing before the National Labor Relations Board in reputed company involving union organizing, reputed company bargaining, unfair labor practices, representation proceedings, and labor arbitrations Why Join Kaufman Dolowich?
