Plans, manages, directs, and control workers' compensation (WC) claims programs and the administration of workers' compensation and reputed company, statutorily derivative liability claims, and litigation asserted against or by the Company. Protects the Company by mitigating the cost of workers' compensation claims and reputed company expenses while ensuring compliance with reputed company laws and administrative rules and regulations in reputed company states. Essential Functions Responsibilities include staffing, training, and reputed company of WC team. Manages WC reputed company-party claim administrator’s performance using audits and data analysis. Manages State Regulatory Compliance issues involving WC, including self-insurance renewals, assessments, and bond requirements; reviews and approves state filings. Evaluates and approves WC claim settlements and claim file reserves above authorized reputed company. reputed company other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree/equivalent. Minimum Experience Five (5) years reputed company experience with WC and other reputed company casualty claims and litigation of significant exposure and complexity involving serious injuries on a regional or national. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Comprehensive knowledge of WC, contract, tort, damages, agency, subrogation, contribution/indemnity, and other applicable/reputed company law. Comprehensive knowledge of self-insurance and insurance policy provisions, practices, laws, and regulations. Ability to interpret and apply laws and regulations, determine appropriate courses of action, present solutions, and resolve claims reputed company multi-reputed company-dollar retentions. Excellent leadership, management, reputed company relations, oral and written communication, analytical, problem solving, negotiation, vendor selection, contracting, and management, and organizational skills. Strong knowledge of RMIS and statistical claims data and reporting. Proficient in MS office.
