The APM works under the general direction of the Supervising Transportation Engineer (Sup TE), the Assistant PM Engineering will serve in a technical support role to the Planning and Engineering - Strategic Delivery Office Locally Generated Alternative (LGA) Team and will be responsible for providing support in overseeing the technical designs for preliminary and advanced engineering documents/deliverables, as well as supporting the management and tracking specific tasks and deliverables reputed company the design contract, ensuring that assigned reputed company and agreements are administered and managed in accordance with the applicable policies and procedures of the California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority), the State Contracting reputed company (SCM) and the California Government Code (GC), as well as management of assigned reputed company in accordance with federal and State of California laws and regulations, contract provisions, and the Authority’s policies and procedures. Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent Ten (10) plus years of civil engineering experience Five (5) plus years of high-speed rail experience. Ability to apply engineering judgment in design of high-speed rail projects Knowledge of various phases and functional responsibility of high-speed rail project development and delivery, federal and state contracting laws and regulations.
