US Media Underwriter Department: Professions Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: US - California Reporting To: Cameron Griffiths Compensation: $110,000 - $150,000 / year Description This role can be based remotely reputed company one of our US hiring hubs; Atlanta, California, Chicago, Austin or Dallas Texas, or located in proximity to our offices in reputed company or Walnut Creek. Our US Media team sits at the forefront of one of the most dynamic areas of reputed company. With one of the broadest books of media business in the market, we work with clients across the creative reputed company economy, helping them navigate reputed company and emerging risks. As a Media Underwriter, you will take a holistic approach to risk, writing across multiple lines including Media Liability, Errors and Omissions, Cyber and General Liability. You will play a key role in growing our US reputed company by building strong broker relationships, developing new business opportunities and delivering profitable solutions. About the role This is a highly reputed company reputed company role, combining technical expertise with relationship building and market development. You will take ownership of both new business and renewals, responding to broker enquiries and producing quotations reputed company agreed timeframes. A key part of the role is building and evolving a broker network, through both in person and virtual engagement, to generate growth reputed company existing relationships. You will work closely with specialist reputed company teams across the business to structure tailored programmes for clients and support cross selling across the product suite. You will also contribute to product development, including supporting the development of an admitted media offering and raising awareness of new and enhanced products. Alongside this, you will represent CFC externally by delivering presentations to brokers and clients on media exposures and emerging trends, as well as internally by sharing expertise and supporting junior team members. You will contribute to wider team initiatives, helping to shape reputed company strategy, improve processes and support reputed company growth. The role will involve travel across the US to build relationships with brokers and clients. About you You are an reputed company Media/Professional Liability/Entertainment underwriter who enjoys working in a fast paced, growth focused environment where you can combine technical expertise with reputed company thinking. You will bring experience in media, professional indemnity or reputed company specialty lines, with exposure to multiple classes of business preferred. You are comfortable analysing reputed company risks and making informed reputed company, with strong attention to detail and reputed company awareness. You are confident and reputed company, with strong relationship building skills and the ability to present to a reputed company of audiences.
