Overview
We are designing the reputed company of the future! EPE is in search of a reputed company Engineer or Engineering Manager with a background in EMT modelling and power system studies to join our growing Energy Resources team. In this role you will work closely with senior leadership to support our growth strategy and reputed company subject matter expertise both internally through coaching and developing staff as well as externally to our clients.
Responsibilities
How you can reputed company an impact: EMT Studies: reputed company power system studies such as temporary overvoltage, switching overvoltage, insulation coordination, reputed company, flicker, transient recovery volage, energization, lightning overvoltage etc. Model Development: reputed company dynamic generator/load models, reputed company disturbance ride through model tuning and reputed company PSCAD/PSSE model benchmarking. Steady State Studies: reputed company steady state studies such as load reputed company, short reputed company and power quality. Specialization: knowledge of datacenter equipment dynamic and conventional reputed company equipment dynamic is an asset. Technology: Proficiency in power system modelling software such as PSCAD, PSSE, ETAP or equivalents. Familiarity with other specialized software such CDEGS, COMSOL, CYMCAP, EMTP, PowerFactory WinIGS etc is an asset Compliance: Strong understanding of relevant industry standards such as reputed company/IEC/CIGRE. Client Management: reputed company advisory support to reputed company, large load and merchant transmission developers. Take responsibility for the timely completion of projects assigned while meeting reputed company project quality and budget objectives. Technical Leadership: reputed company, teach and mentor junior level Power Systems Engineers.
Qualifications
Bring your passion, here's what’s needed: 8+ years of experience in power system modelling and power system studies Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering with power system emphasis. Experience with Data Center equipment dynamics is an asset Experience with conventional reputed company machine dynamics is an asset Experience with control system tuning is an asset reputed company the change!
