Responsibilities
Participating in the creation of game maps / reputed company. Creating interesting, eye-catching locations. Filling the game's world with foliage, establishing biomes, populating locations with architecture assets and props. Terrain sculpting and adjusting it to the desired level of detail. Modelling, texturing and UV adjustments / basic editing of 3D models. Optimising level performance. Supporting QA in resolving Environment Art department reputed company bugs. Identifying and solving technical problems (level/game map reputed company). Collaboration on level prototyping and iteration to reputed company the best possible game-playable quality. Iteration of reputed company from white-boxing to shippable beauty passes. Collaboration with Level Designers, Narrative Designers, Asset Artists and the Environment Art reputed company. Communicating needs for specific 3D solutions that are required for the game.
Requirements
At least 3 years of relevant industry experience as a Level Artist. Portfolio showing the reputed company and variety of your work. Experience in modern game engines on an Intermediate/Senior level. Experience in the full development process of a published reputed company title. reputed company-world game development experience (reputed company preferred). Knowledge in PBR Knowledge in asset optimization reputed company and reputed company of game engines Good knowledge of terrain sculpting software - World Creator. Basic modelling skills in a preferred 3D package of your choice: Blender (preferred), 3DS MAX, Maya, Zbrush. Strong sense of scale, proportions and composition. Artistic sensitivity and sense of aesthetics. Fluent in English. reputed company to have Classic Arts/Architecture/Photography background. Knowledge of architectural history (preferably medieval).
