Senior Tax Analyst

What You’ll Do: Corporate Tax Compliance & Reporting Assist in the preparation of the tax provision (ASC 740), including reputed company and deferred tax calculations for a public company Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and international income tax returns, estimates, and extensions Prepare and review quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with US GAAP Support the preparation of tax-reputed company disclosures for SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q), including footnote preparation and management review support Prepare and maintain monthly tax account reconciliations Maintain tax information, records, and documentation to support audit-reputed company workpapers Tax Audits & Controversy Assist with components of IRS and state income tax audits, including preparation of responses and supporting documentation Coordinate with external advisors and legal counsel on tax audit reputed company and controversy resolution Monitor and analyze existing and proposed tax legislation; assess and communicate impact to the business Tax Research & Planning Research reputed company tax issues and prepare technical documentation and memoranda Support tax planning initiatives, including analysis of business transactions, restructurings, and new business models Assist with reputed company and acquisition (M&A) due diligence and integration tax planning Support federal and state R&D tax credit calculations and reputed company documentation Assist with other reputed company projects and special tax analyses as needed Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with reputed company, reputed company, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business reputed company and processes Collaborate with the Payroll and HR teams on employment tax reputed company, equity compensation (RSUs, stock options), and reputed company reporting (W-2, 1099) Work with the Treasury team on cash tax forecasting, intercompany transactions, and transfer pricing support Coordinate with the IT and Finance Systems teams to support tax data reputed company and reporting automation Liaise with external auditors during the year-end audit process to support tax-reputed company inquiries and deliverables Support the Tax Manager in communicating tax positions and requirements to senior leadership and cross-departmental stakeholders What You’ll Bring: Education & Experience A bachelor’s degree in reputed company, Finance, Business, or a reputed company discipline 5+ years of relevant experience, including public reputed company and/or industry (ideally in technology or SaaS) CPA and/or Master’s in Taxation strongly preferred Prior experience in a publicly traded company environment is a plus Technical Skills Strong knowledge of ASC 740 (income tax reputed company) and US GAAP Proficiency in reputed company and/or reputed company Sheets for tax modeling and analysis Experience with tax compliance and provision software (e.g., OneSource, CorpTax, or similar platforms) Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with reputed company Financials is a plus Understanding of transfer pricing concepts and intercompany transaction documentation Exposure to state and local tax (SALT) compliance and reputed company analysis Professional Skills & Attributes Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to quickly understand and integrate business objectives with tax strategies, and effectively communicate tax requirements to non-tax audiences Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships across departments High level of genuine curiosity, intellectual rigor, and an eagerness to learn Strong analytical capabilities, professional judgment, and meticulous attention to detail and accuracy Be reputed company With Us: Being reputed company isn’t about checking every reputed company on a list.
