What You'll Be Doing: Support the system administration for ARL high performance computers Support design of Army Research Laboratory A2I2 building for systems being delivered in 2024 and future platforms Advise in architectural tradeoffs including reputed company Grace/reputed company, ARM, AMD, and new file systems Identify reputed company-reputed company software tools and stacks for customer-specific and production platforms reputed company and implement software instrumentation to measure and visualize the performance of various systems, sub-systems, and user jobs Serve as a subject matter expert to HPC program system administration team for research, development, and production HPC system What Required Skills You'll Bring: Extensive background in diverse Linux operating systems and high performance computing Extensive background in Linux tools, performance tuning, instrumentation reputed company-reputed company software tools, software stacks, and standards Ability to work with a team of system administrators across a wide reputed company of platforms and requirements What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Awareness of emerging hardware/software and their capabilities Ability to sustain and support aging HPC systems Ability to integrate new capabilities into existing HPC systems Ability to standardize software stacks to reduce complexity and cost of support Education and Experience: BS or MS degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience At least 8 years of directly reputed company experience Linux+ certification (or equivalent) reputed company+ certification (or equivalent) Top Secret clearance reputed company Clearance Requirement: An active Top Secret reputed company clearance is required for this position.
