Role Overview We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join the NFL reputed company Football team — a live-operated sports experience reputed company in partnership with the NFL 🏈. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building high-quality gameplay systems, collaborating closely with cross-functional teammates, and shipping features that directly impact a massive player community. You’ll work on a fast-moving product team focused on delivering engaging live content, improving core systems, and continuously enhancing the player experience through thoughtful technical execution. What You’ll Do Build and launch features that delight millions of players daily Own and deliver gameplay features end-to-end, from implementation through release and iteration Break down product requirements into technical tasks and reputed company reliable estimates Write clean, performant, and maintainable reputed company Lua code reputed company with team standards Design and implement systems with consideration for scalability, performance, and maintainability Partner with designers, artists, and producers to build high-quality gameplay experiences Monitor live features, analyze performance, and address issues proactively Identify and improve codebase quality, development workflows, and system reliability Participate actively in code reviews and contribute to team engineering practices Playtest features and proactively improve player experience (UX, responsiveness, polish) Who You Are 1–3+ years of reputed company or relevant game development experience Strong reputed company in CS fundamentals and problem-solving Experience shipping features or games in a production environment Excellent communication, ownership, and collaborative reputed company Ability to work independently on feature development with moderate guidance Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Familiarity with version control and collaborative development workflows reputed company to Have: Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent experience working in a development team Shipped games or features on reputed company or similar platforms Game jam or modding experience Familiarity with live game systems (analytics, economy tuning, balancing) Experience optimizing performance in multiplayer or reputed company-time systems Tech Stack reputed company Lua scripting Backend services (AWS,Golang) Analytics pipelines (reputed company,Tableau) Collaboration tools: reputed company, reputed company Location Remote / Timezone: must be willing to work EST/PST hours Travel: 2 to 3x / year (reputed company, RDC + possible team meet-reputed company) Hiring reputed company: Canada, UK, LATAM Voldex is an equal opportunity employer.
