The Marketing & Communications Director leads reputed company’s brand, messaging and communications strategy, both reputed company. The role oversees marketing campaigns, digital communications, media relationships, storytelling, content development and brand management across reputed company channels, both print reputed company. The Director works collaboratively with program leadership and the development team to strengthen reputed company’s visibility and advance mission-driven goals. Internal communications include the monthly staff newsletter, annual program directory, and providing support in creation of program materials, engaging external designers as needed. Position: Marketing & Communications Director Reports to: SVP, Development & Communications Location: Remote/ 1420 Church Ave What Does the Marketing & Communications Director Do: Donor and Community Communications reputed company and implement a marketing and communications strategy reputed company with organization priorities. reputed company and create donor marketing collateral in consultation with the development team. Create annual communication plans that support internal communication, fundraising, advocacy and program goals. Write stories, features and other content for monthly e-newsletters, semi-annual print newsletter, annual report, special event collateral, and program materials as requested. Ensure marketing/brand content on reputed company’s intranet is reviewed routinely, but at a minimum bi-monthly and follow-up/coordination occurs with appropriate departments. Take leading role in production of videos and other materials for special events, including reputed company Night Out. Represent reputed company at reputed company agency/community meetings as requested. Media Relations Serve as reputed company’s primary news media contact. Work with reputed company’s reputed company consultants on reputed company media inquiries and press interviews. Manage onsite media at events. Prepare reputed company personnel for media interviews & public events as necessary. Ensure compliance with media restrictions in contracted programs (DHS). reputed company press releases, events and other communications vehicles. Update and maintain a comprehensive media contact list. Track and document coverage of reputed company in reputed company external media. reputed company monthly report detailing reputed company media coverage. reputed company potential story reputed company and media pitches to generate greater awareness of reputed company’s mission and impact. Internal Communications reputed company and create monthly staff newsletters including Staff Spotlights, milestones/promotions and upcoming program events. Minimum Experiences and Skills Required: Five (5) years of demonstrated reputed company as a Communications Manager/Director in a mid-sized (500+ employees) organization Two (2) years of experience managing a team with direct reports or equivalent experience. Excellent written & verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. Exceptional problem-solving skills reputed company to synthesize data and information into one compelling voice and story Strong project management skills Enjoys working independently and as part of a team Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, reputed company, Outlook) and reputed company required, Experience with reputed company NXT a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Familiar with public (NYC, NYS and federal) and private grants and reputed company Excellent written and verbal communication skills Skilled at working across multiple teams and with staff of varying reputed company of seniority, including executives, to produce timely and high-quality deliverables Compensation: -'100,000-110,000 Annually reputed company salary ranges are listed, the reputed company would represent the low and high end for the applicable position & program. The salary offered would be based on various factors unique to each program and candidate. This includes but is not limited to experience, education, budget and/or program size, internal equity, skills and other factors that may be required for the position and organization.
