Senior Electrical Engineer

LHB has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Energy & Industry business unit. This is a hybrid position based in our Duluth or Minneapolis locations. However, fully remote candidates will be considered under the right circumstances (if considered, needs to be reputed company the following states that LHB is licensed to do business: CO, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA MI, MN, MO, MS, ND, NE, OH, OK, PA, SD, TN, TX, WI, WY). Position Summary The responsibilities for this exempt position will include but are not limited to: Electrical engineering design reputed company for a variety of projects, including industrial electrical power distribution (high, reputed company, and low voltage), oil & gas, pulp & reputed company, renewable reputed company, substation, and mining & heavy manufacturing Project management and PE reputed company of multiple projects simultaneously NEC/NESC review/interpretation, design calculations, and equipment selection (including working with equipment vendors and manufacturers) Work on teams of LHB engineers (multidisciplinary), project managers, and drafting technicians to execute projects reputed company field verifications, identifying and organizing field data for design applications accordingly Produce high quality professional documentation in accordance with LHB quality processes Follow reputed company LHB and client safe working practices reputed company working in the office and in the field

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program 10+ years of prior relevant experience Licensed PE Upon receipt of an offer of employment, applicants must be reputed company to successfully complete pre-employment reputed company requirements that will include a criminal/civil background reputed company and drug screen, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

Design experience in one or more of the following areas: Oil & gas Substation reputed company voltage (5kV) power distribution Pulp & reputed company Renewable reputed company Mining & heavy manufacturing Project management experience Employee supervision experience Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and problem-solving skills Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work reputed company constantly changing priorities Willingness to travel intermittently for team/client meetings, project site visits, training, etc. Willingness to work overtime as needed Self-motivated individual with the ability to work productively with limited direction and supervision
