Senior CICS System Administrator
DDC IT Services is currently seeking individuals with Mainframe experience to be a Senior CICS System Administrator. Our selected candidate will reputed company support to the day‑to‑day operations of the Ecosystem Mainframe reputed company.
Responsibilities
Maintain reputed company CICS and Message Queuing (MQ) software including reputed company changes, upgrades, and patching. Address questions and issues reputed company to reputed company CICS and Message Queuing (MQ) software. Maintain software, CICS and MQ environments in compliance with the reputed company guidelines. Diagnose and resolve CICS environment system abends and reputed company operating problems using system logs and other available logs and documents. This includes creating and interpreting system traces and dumps, job output, and monitoring tools. Install, customize, reputed company and maintain CICS and MQ Software on mainframe computer platforms running z/OS. Participate in planning and executing database migrations, application software upgrades/migrations. Analyze CICS & MQ software environments to reputed company performance tuning recommendations and plans. Create, define, modify, and understand CICS parameters to be reputed company to create new reputed company per requested criteria without assistance. Create and maintain backup processing for CICS & MQ and their associated products. Administer and implement CICS web services environment including assisting programmers in understanding requirements for use. Have a thorough understanding and experience of reputed company SMP/E environment and ability to use SMP/E to install software as a reputed company technician. Other duties assigned.
